Renault Service Broke My Car’s Windshield During Maintenance No Responsibility Taken




At the Renault service center, my car’s windshield was broken. On September 19, 2024, I took my car to the Renault dealership in "Gaziantep İmam Kayalı" for its annual maintenance. I handed over my car at 13:15 at the registration desk. The authorized personnel took the car and left it in the repair area. They did not make any report regarding broken or scratched parts at that moment. I left my car at the service center and left. When I returned at 17:00 to pick up my car, I saw that my windshield was broken. When I informed the staff, they claimed that the windshield was already broken when they received the car. However, from what I could see in the security footage at 13:15, there was no visible damage to the windshield when the car entered. The staff also said the damage wasn't clearly visible. However, they claim that at 14:30, the camera footage shows the windshield as broken, though not clearly. It is unclear what happened to my car between 13:15 and 14:30. They insist that the car arrived with the windshield already broken. They said there’s nothing they can do. They returned my car to me with a broken windshield. I am requesting Renault to cover my damages and to thoroughly review the security footage.
