Renault Clio 5 Headlight Condensation After Warranty Expiry

I am the owner of a 2022 model Renault Clio 5 Joy and I would like to report a problem with the right front headlight. A few days ago, after a rainy day, I noticed that there was condensation inside the right front headlight. The vehicle has never had a frontal accident and the headlight has never been removed or refitted. All periodic maintenance has been carried out regularly at Renault authorized services every year since I bought the car. I took the vehicle to the authorized service in Kozan, Adana, and was told that since the warranty expired in March 2025, they would charge a total of ₺36,000 for the headlight and labor. They stated that, because I have always had my maintenance done at Renault authorized services, they could possibly reduce this amount to ₺10,000 under goodwill. Afterwards, when I searched online, I saw that many other Clio 5 users experienced the same condensation problem in the headlights and I started to think that this might be a factory-origin issue rather than user error. I find it unfair that I am being asked to pay such a high amount for a problem that appears to be chronic and likely related to production. I request that the right front headlight and the related labor be covered completely and free of charge under Renault’s goodwill and customer satisfaction approach, and that this manufacturing-related problem be investigated and resolved permanently.
Progress
I own a 2022 Renault Clio 5. About two months ago I noticed a distinct fog forming inside the right‑hand front headlamp, especially when it rains heavily. The car has never been in a front‑end collision, the headlamp has never been removed or reinstalled, and I have had all its maintenance performed annually at an authorized service centre. The vehicle now has roughly 52,000 km on the clock.
When the problem appeared I took the car to the Renault dealer in Kozan, Adana. Although my warranty does not expire until March 2025, I consider that water or fog inside the headlamp is more likely a manufacturing defect than user error. The service initially quoted around 34,000 TL for a headlamp replacement and labor, then claimed to apply a goodwill discount of 9,000 TL. Even after that discount the remaining amount is still far too high for me, so I did not proceed with the repair.
Further research online showed that many other Clio 5 owners are experiencing the same issue, leading me to believe this is a chronic, factory‑origin problem. The appearance of fog inside the headlamp of a vehicle that has never been struck and receives regular authorized servicing deprives the user of both safety and financial security.
I request that Renault recognise this as a chronic, production‑related defect, ensure that affected customers are not left to bear excessive service and parts costs, and provide a reasonable and fair solution that covers essentially the full cost of the headlamp replacement and labor for my vehicle.
