About a month ago, my 2020 Renault Megane Joy package vehicle developed cracks simultaneously on both front headlight covers and on the instrument panel glass, without any impact, contact, or external factor. Both headlight covers cracked from the same point and from the inside. My car is always kept in a closed garage and has very little exposure to outside conditions. After the problem appeared, I took my car to the authorized service center. The service staff confirmed that there was no impact or external factor, stated that the cracks occurred on their own, took photos, and submitted a report to the factory. The factory responded by offering ₺22,000 support only for the instrument panel, while rejecting any action for the headlights, claiming external impact as the cause. However, given the storage conditions of my vehicle and the way the cracks formed, the possibility of external factors is completely ruled out. Moreover, despite calling customer service twice, I received no response. My car is regularly serviced, and the fact that both the instrument panel and the headlights cracked on the same day and spontaneously shows that this is a manufacturing defect. My expectation from Renault is that both the headlights and the instrument panel be replaced free of charge under goodwill and warranty. I request that my grievance be resolved.
