Renault Austral Noise Issues Unresolved Despite Manufacturer Involvement
On September 5, 2023, we received a brand-new Renault Austral from Izmir Cetas. On the same day, while driving, an extremely annoying and continuous noise began. We returned to the dealership, where they acknowledged the problem, attributing the noise to a manufacturing flaw and asking us to leave the car for inspection. I was hesitant to leave after having already paid a 500,000.00 deposit and waited approximately three months for the 1,800,000.00 TL vehicle. To file a complaint and open a case, I contacted Renault Turkey's distributor, Mais Headquarters. Following correspondence with France, the problem was promised to be identified and resolved. I took the car to the service center nearly twice a week in September, but no solution was found. Even after two months, the response I received indicated that there were no mechanical issues with the car and that it was still usable. We anticipate a solution from Turkey Mais and Izmir Cetas for this defective car, which has yet to be resolved due to a manufacturing issue.
