I purchased my Realme 12 smartphone from Vatan on June 25, and since the first day, I’ve been experiencing constant lag and stuttering while watching videos and Reels on Instagram. The videos don’t freeze completely, but they never play smoothly — the playback keeps skipping and stuttering. On TikTok, this problem started appearing about a month ago, and I now face the same lagging issue while watching videos.
Even though the device has 512 GB of storage and 8+4 GB of RAM, I’ve already tried every possible solution — clearing cache, restarting the phone, cleaning storage space, and more — but nothing helped. The issue persists whether I’m using Wi-Fi or mobile data, and it occurs at all times of the day.
My phone is still under warranty, and I haven’t contacted technical service yet. However, it’s unacceptable to face such performance problems in basic apps after paying ₺13,999 for a new device.
I’m requesting a replacement for my Realme 12, as I believe the issue stems from a defective device rather than user error.
