Purisaki Order Returned After Customs Requested a Prescription

June 9 4:05 PM1

I ordered the Purisaki weight loss band from Purisaki. The package arrived in Turkey, but PTT Customs required me to provide a prescription because they classified it as a health-related product. In my opinion, this is not a medical product, yet I was still asked for a prescription. Because of this requirement, I was unable to claim my package. The shipment was eventually returned, and the seller accepted the return.

I also want to point out something that may help other customers. Many people believe they never received a notification about their shipment, but in reality, the package is often returned by customs and the notification is sent by email, not by text message. Because many customers check the wrong place for updates, they are unaware of what has happened to their order.

I would like PTT Customs to make its notification and tracking process more transparent and easier to understand. I also believe the policy of requiring prescriptions for products that are not medical devices or medications should be reviewed to help prevent similar issues for other customers.
