Puma Rebound LayUP SL And Caven Mix Defects
In September 2025, I purchased two pairs of Puma shoes from your Ankara Natavega store, one Rebound LayUP SL model for my son and one Caven Mix model for my daughter, for a total of ₺4,276.09. Within about three months, serious quality issues began to appear on both products. The leather on the sides of my son’s Rebound LayUP SL started to peel off visibly, while the heel area of my daughter’s Caven Mix discoloured and lost its original appearance. I reported these problems to the store staff, explaining that these are defects I would expect from a very cheap or even counterfeit product, not from shoes sold at Puma prices. The store representative examined the products, acknowledged the defects and confirmed that the shoes were under one-year warranty. I was directed to create a request with photos and my explanation via www.inceleme.puma.com.tr, and I was told that the products would most likely be replaced. When I later checked the website, I saw that the inspection for my daughter’s Caven Mix was still ongoing, while my son’s Rebound LayUP SL was shown as “Teslimi Bekleniyor”. Thinking that a refund or exchange was approved, I went to the store, only to be told that my request had been rejected and that there was “no product-related defect”. When I questioned how a shoe could end up in this condition in just 2–3 months, and even offered to bring other shoes my children wear with their receipts to show that we do not have such problems with other brands, the staff member replied that “it is normal for these leathers to be like this, you should prefer genuine leather”. The next day, I called customer service, but I was told that they could not do anything and that whatever the service decided was final. As a result, I feel that we have been sold very low-quality products at high prices, and that we have been left completely alone in this process without any solution or responsible contact person, even though the products are under warranty. Both shoes are within the warranty period and, in my opinion, clearly defective for their short duration and normal use conditions. I request that both my son’s Rebound LayUP SL and my daughter’s Caven Mix shoes be accepted as defective goods and that they be fully refunded at the current price, with the total amount paid refunded to me.
The leather surface of my shoes developed scuffs and color fading, the store did not acknowledge the issue, I am requesting a refund and awaiting a solution.
