Preply Teacher Missed Both Scheduled Lessons and No Support Provided
On 02/09/2025, I scheduled my first English lesson through Preply. I contacted the teacher via chat, but when it was time for the class, the teacher did not attend, claiming their camera was broken. The teacher then asked me to reschedule, so I booked a second lesson for 04/09/2025. Unfortunately, the teacher also failed to show up for that session.
During this process, I tried to reach Preply customer support, but I could not find any direct way to get assistance. This was my very first experience on the platform, and it left me extremely disappointed. I paid 136₺ with my credit card, but I received no lessons in return. My account is registered under the email y************@gmail.com**.
I request a full refund of the 136₺ I paid and expect Preply to provide better support for students. Teachers who repeatedly miss scheduled lessons should be held accountable, and customers should not be left without both service and support.
