Preply Canceled My Remaining 4 Lessons After Teacher Became Inactive
I purchased a 12-lesson package on Preply and successfully scheduled my lessons with my tutor. Everything was going smoothly until I had 4 lessons left, when I suddenly received a warning that “your teacher is not active.” Although the tutor mentioned there was an issue with their account and we managed to complete one more lesson, the problem persisted.
When I reached out to Preply live support, an agent named A** canceled the lessons I had already planned. Now, since my subscription has ended, I cannot reschedule or use my remaining 4 lessons at all. This means I paid for classes that I never received.
I demand either a refund for the 4 unused lessons or that these classes be re-added to my account so I can schedule them with another tutor. It is unfair for customers to lose prepaid lessons due to technical or account issues on the tutor’s side. Preply must ensure students get what they paid for.
