After an accident with my Porsche 911 Carrera S, I entrusted the vehicle to Doğuş Oto Kartal Porsche service, but the experience has caused significant financial and emotional distress. Here are the main issues I encountered:
Warranty Service Failures:
Despite my car being under warranty, the towing service was not provided free of charge, and I had to cover the cost myself.
Warranty support for necessary repairs was inadequate, and repair times were unreasonably delayed.
Parts Availability Issues:
The required parts for my car’s repair were not available in Turkey.
Although I suggested sourcing the parts internationally and completing customs procedures, Doğuş Oto refused to install them.
The service prolonged the process unnecessarily, taking 1.5–2 months to procure parts.
No Replacement Vehicle Provided:
Despite promises, no replacement vehicle was offered, severely disrupting my vacation and work plans.
Lack of Communication and Transparency:
Communication was entirely one-sided, relying on my persistent efforts. Emails were ignored, and my requests for updates were unmet.
Additional Concerns:
This situation not only left me without my car but also:
Put me at risk of exceeding my legal stay in Turkey, potentially leading to penalties.
Created complications due to UK laws, which restrict my car from being abroad for more than three months, resulting in additional legal and financial burdens.
My Requests:
Compensation for all financial and emotional damages caused by the poor handling of the warranty process.
A transparent explanation of the delays and warranty shortcomings.
A customer-focused solution to ensure satisfaction.
It is deeply disappointing that a globally renowned brand like Porsche provides such subpar service in Turkey. I urge Doğuş Oto and Porsche representatives to take immediate action to resolve this matter.
