I Face Strict Zara Return Policy With No Exchange Option
On April 12, 2026, I went to the Zara store at İstMarina Mall to return or exchange items I had purchased online, which were completely unused and still had their tags attached. However, the store staff refused to accept the items, stating that the 30-day return period had expired.
When I asked where this return policy was stated, they showed me a document attached to the order confirmation email, written in very small print. Despite the products being unused and in perfect condition, they still refused even an exchange, although I clearly stated that I was willing to accept that option.
I find it unacceptable that Zara does not stand behind its own unused products and applies such a strict and inflexible policy without offering any customer-focused solution. I request that Zara make a goodwill exception in this case, allow an exchange for my items, and provide a fair resolution that does not leave the customer at a disadvantage.
On 12.04.2026, I took my products to the Zara store in İstMarina Mall for a return/exchange, but they refused because the 30‑day return period had passed. Even though the products were never used, my exchange request was rejected and this made me feel very bad.
