I Feel Stuck Because Pierre Cardin Won’t Exchange My Gift Shirt Without Proof

Over the past week and this week, I visited the Mall of Antalya and MarcAntalya stores to exchange a white, striped, slim-fit Pierre Cardin shirt that I received as a gift. I also contacted Aydınlı Giyim customer service. However, I was told that an exchange can only be processed if I provide either the exchange card or the phone number of the person who purchased the item. Without one of these, they said the transaction cannot be completed.
The store representative confirmed that the shirt is indeed a Pierre Cardin product. Still, when trying to exchange a gift, I really don’t want to go back to the person who gave it to me and say, “I didn’t like it—can you give me the exchange card or your phone number?” This is very uncomfortable for me. As a brand that claims to value customer satisfaction, I expect Pierre Cardin to offer a more flexible and solution-oriented approach for gift exchanges.
Stores like LCW—which sell products at more affordable prices—don’t create such problems. I request that Pierre Cardin prioritize customer satisfaction and allow exchanges of gift items with store approval, and that they provide a proper solution to this issue.
