Apple iTunes Store Charged $45 for Picsart Annual Subscriptions
On January 6, annual subscription fees for the Tiny Minies, PicsArt, and Scrl apps were charged to my Turkcell mobile line through my Apple ID. The total charge of $45 USD appears on my bill under the name “iTunes Store.” I did not receive any notification message about these transactions and only discovered them later while reviewing my bill.
Since I do not actively use these applications, I contacted Apple to request a refund. As a result of that conversation, I was refunded only for the Scrl app, but I was informed that no refund would be issued for Tiny Minies and PicsArt. I do not want to pay for a one-year subscription to services I do not use, and this situation has caused me financial hardship.
At the very least, I request that instead of being charged the full annual subscription fee, only one month of usage be billed, and that the remaining balance be refunded to me. I also request that this matter be reviewed and that my hardship be addressed. Additionally, I ask that a more transparent and clearly notified process be implemented before long-term subscription charges are applied to my mobile account.
