Philips 42PFL6198/K12 LED TV Persistent Issues and Chronic Failures

32

In 2012, I purchased a Philips 42PFL6198/K12 model LED TV from Trabzon Teknosa. Within three months of the purchase, I started experiencing screen freezing, image shifting, and slow startup problems. The service representatives assured me that they could temporarily fix the issue through software updates and such, but the same troubles would resurface after a certain period of time. In the fourth or fifth year, a chronic problem occurred—a failure in the mainboard. I had to pay for a replacement, but after three years, that replaced board became useless. The service then installed a used mainboard, and I paid for it as well. Fast forward to 2022, the 10th year since I bought the TV, and the mainboard failed again. I no longer want them to fix the problem; I just want people to know that Philips TVs are not worth buying. Regards.
