Philips Vacuum Cleaner Return Rejected Despite Defect – Request Full Refund
I purchased a Philips vacuum cleaner from the seller Teknouygun via Trendyol on 08.06.2026. I used the product for less than a minute just to test it, but it could not even properly pick up daily crumbs and did not meet the performance promised in the product description. In addition, the wiping head left the floor wet everywhere and again did not provide the expected cleaning performance on any surface. Because of these problems, I created a return request within 2–3 days and sent the product back from Kocaeli in its original box, without any missing parts or scratches and carefully repackaged. Despite this, my return was kept pending for about 25 days and then rejected. The reason given by both the seller and Trendyol customer service was only that “the package has been opened,” and they stated that they could not accept the return for this reason. Philips also did not provide any support in this process. Although I am within my 14‑day right of withdrawal for online shopping and have only used the product briefly for testing, my legal right is being prevented on the grounds that the box has been opened. For order number #11302847719, I request the acceptance of my return and a full refund of the product price to my account. Otherwise, I will file complaints with all relevant authorities and consider pursuing my rights through legal action.
