Philips Smart TV No Google Play and Outdated Apps

I was excited to buy a new Philips Smart TV, but I was disappointed to find that it doesn't have Google Play and I can't add any apps to it. The app gallery has a laughably small number of apps. I tried to update the TV, but that didn't fix the problem. I wish I had gone with Samsung instead; I'm upset. Based on what I've seen online, there are two types of Philips Smart TVs: Philips Smart TV and Android TV. During the purchase, this difference was never brought up. The TV also has an old-fashioned way of using it. I'm not happy at all with the television. Maybe you just need to update the software. I need a solution from the company's representatives right away.
