Philips PUS8807 TV Dead Pixel
I bought a Philips Pus 8807 TV from Teknosa Maltepe Park on May 11, 2023, for my wedding. I had the service guys set it up for me, but I never used it. I just stored it in the box. So, when we finally tried to set it up, we realized that the antenna cable wasn't connected. And guess what? The screen was black except for this obvious green spot, which is a dead pixel. When we contacted the service, they said they would come and check it out. On October 23, 2023, the repair service came and verified that there was a dead pixel on the TV. But they said no to fixing, replacing, or giving money back for the product. According to Consumer Protection Law No. 6502, if a product has even just one dead pixel, it is considered defective. You can search for previous decisions made by the Supreme Court and rulings from the Consumer Court on the internet about this matter. I'm writing to complain formally. If my TV isn't replaced or fixed with a new one as soon as possible, I'll file a complaint with the Consumer Arbitration Board to protect my rights as a consumer.
