Philips Azur Elite Optimal Temp Iron Cannot Be Fixed

My Philips Azur Elite Optimal Temp iron broke down. The local Philips service in my city, Eskişehir, decided to replace the base of the iron, but after a 50-day waiting period, they informed me that the base of the iron couldn't be sourced in Turkey. They proposed to exchange my iron with another one, but the price they offered was 2,800 Turkish liras, even though the retail price of the same iron is 3,800 liras. The market price of my iron is actually 7,000-8,000 liras. I believe that I've been treated unfairly by Philips.
