On 21.08.2025, I purchased a Philips Ambilight TV 65OLED760 4K UHD OLED 164 cm 65" Smart TV Dolby Vision Titanos model from Vatan Bilgisayar at 212 AVM in Istanbul, European side. After receiving the product, I opened the box together with my industrial engineer friend while recording a video. After removing the protective foam on the bottom right corner, without even peeling off the screen film, we plugged in the TV and noticed cracks inside the screen, vertical lines, display distortion, and even a burning smell coming from the bottom right corner. The TV never turned on, it only received power. I have both the unboxing video and photos as proof. The product was defective from the first use without any damage or misuse on my part. Together with Vatan Bilgisayar staff, I loaded the TV into my car and transported it a very short distance home. I also shared the situation with the authorized service through a video call, and the condition of the screen was seen together. Despite this, both the service representative and the brand rejected my request for a replacement or refund and offered no solution. The product is currently being kept in the authorized service’s warehouse. The total amount of the TV was ₺71,000, paid in installments with my credit card without interest. My invoice number is VTN2025000612039. Throughout the entire process, I acted within the scope of the warranty, yet I received no support. As a consumer, under Law No. 6502 on the Protection of Consumers, I request a replacement or repair for this brand-new product that came out defective upon first use, or a refund if those are not possible. I kindly ask for this matter to be resolved as soon as possible.
