I Can’t Mirror My Phone or Keep HDMI Display Stable on My Philips PUS8507 TV

I’ve been using my Philips PUS8507 model TV by connecting my laptop via HDMI to mirror my screen. Everything works initially, but after about 10–15 minutes, the TV screen suddenly goes black and I have to disconnect and reconnect the cable to get the picture back. This happens repeatedly and it’s incredibly frustrating—especially when trying to watch a movie or give a presentation. Is there a timeout setting or compatibility issue with HDMI ports that I need to know about?

Additionally, screen mirroring from my smartphone doesn’t work at all. I’ve tried using the built-in screen casting options, but the TV either doesn’t appear as a device or fails to connect properly. I’ve verified that both devices are on the same Wi-Fi network, but still no success.

I purchased this TV expecting seamless smart features, especially from a well-known brand like Philips. But both HDMI stability and wireless screen mirroring seem broken. Please guide me on how to fix these issues. I need this TV to function as promised or I’ll have to consider returning it.
