I Bought a Philips SpeedPro Max Vacuum That Never Worked From Day One

On May 26, 2026, the day before the Eid al-Adha holiday, we purchased a Philips SpeedPro Max Cordless Vacuum Cleaner (model XC7043/01) from the Taurus Kutupplex store.
The product was not tested in the store before purchase. After taking it home and opening the box, we plugged the vacuum cleaner in and charged it. Despite remaining connected to the charger for approximately six hours, the device never turned on or functioned in any way.
On May 31, 2026, we returned to the Taurus Kutupplex store with the product. Store employees tested the vacuum cleaner themselves and confirmed that the device was indeed not working. Afterward, they informed us that they had contacted the manufacturer and submitted a report stating that the product was defective. They then asked us to wait until they received a response from the manufacturer.
We do not believe it is reasonable to be kept waiting for a product that has been defective since the very first day of ownership and has never functioned at all. The store's own staff acknowledged that the vacuum cleaner does not work and is faulty.
We request that this clearly defective Philips SpeedPro Max XC7043/01 vacuum cleaner be accepted as a return and that the full purchase price be refunded to us without any deductions or unnecessary delay.
