Pfizer Sab Simplex Drops Caused Severe Vomiting in My 3-Week-Old Newborn

Based on a doctor's recommendation, I began using Pfizer's Sab Simplex oral drops for my 3-week-old daughter. After the evening dose on the very first day, my baby started vomiting, which I initially dismissed thinking it might have been caused by something in my own diet. However, when my baby spent the entire second night continuously vomiting and dry-heaving, I became deeply suspicious and decided to discontinue the drops. In total, I used it for just 2 days, during which my baby's discomfort not only failed to lessen but actually intensified.

I believe a medication intended to bring relief to infants should never cause such severe distress to a newborn. I demand that the side effects of Sab Simplex drops—especially for newborns and very young infants—be clearly, comprehensibly, and prominently highlighted on the product box and package insert. I request that this matter be investigated and necessary warnings issued so that other families do not experience the same hardship.
