Peugeot 208 Allure Selection Premature Suspension Failure and Warranty Dispute

On May 13, 2024, I purchased a used 2023 Peugeot 208 Allure Selection with 10,700 km from Peugeot Baykar in Bursa. The fact that the vehicle was under warranty and presented as nearly new and flawless was a decisive factor in my choice.
On July 24, 2024, I noticed a wobble in my car's tires. Concerned that this could cause instability at high speeds, I took the vehicle to the authorized Peugeot Baykar service center. After inspection, they determined that the right front shock absorber needed to be replaced. However, the service officials stated that this defect was not covered by the warranty and was due to user error, estimating a cost of ₺24,051 for the replacement.
My car has not experienced any accidents or collisions. I informed the service technician that there were no signs of accidents or impacts and that I could obtain an expert report if necessary. Despite being careful and driving slowly over obstacles such as manhole covers or speed bumps in city streets, if the shock absorber failed due to such usage, it raises serious concerns about the vehicle's durability. Ultimately, I believe that such a sensitive vehicle should not have been offered for sale.
Apart from the daily usage issues I mentioned, there have been no accidents or collisions. This situation, which was claimed to be outside the warranty, was a major disappointment to me. The staff at the Baykar authorized service center tried their best to help, but I believe this problem is more related to the brand than the dealership. From a brand like Peugeot, I did not expect such an approach for a vehicle that is still under warranty and can be considered almost new. The statement that any part claimed to be under warranty can be excluded from the warranty at the company's discretion is not an acceptable situation. As a consumer who is very sensitive to not encroaching on rights, I demand that the same sensitivity be shown to me as well. I am suffering from deprivation because I am reluctant to use my car in this condition. I want my grievance to be addressed and the problem resolved as soon as possible.

*Update 1:* Peugeot customer service called me one day after I submitted my complaint. However, they reiterated the previous explanations, stating that the shock absorber falls under the category of worn-out parts and therefore cannot be covered under warranty. During the call, they mentioned that they wanted to help me, but they did not offer any solution by repeating the same statements. Instead, they expressed that they could provide support if I needed help with other issues and requested that I withdraw my complaint. The fact that a vehicle with 12,000 km has such a part wear deeply concerns me as a user. While I am experiencing this issue myself, I will continue to publish my complaint to draw attention to potential problems that others might encounter when buying a vehicle from the company, especially for those considering purchasing a new or nearly new vehicle, so that they do not face a similar situation.
