I am the owner of a 2019 Peugeot 3008 Allure Selection with 95,000 km, and recently, the AdBlue system and engine warning lights flashed, indicating a serious issue. After taking my car to the authorized Gülan service center, I was shocked to learn about significant engine problems, totaling a whopping ₺260,000. They mentioned issues with the cylinder head and other components, requiring extensive replacements.
Upon further investigation, it became evident that AdBlue-related problems plague numerous Peugeot vehicles. Unfortunately, Peugeot claims it's not a chronic issue and is outside the warranty, leaving me in a helpless situation. It's baffling how such a widespread problem isn't acknowledged as chronic.
I am determined to find a solution, but potential buyers should be cautious. While Peugeot cars boast appealing designs, the risk of encountering a major engine failure, as experienced with my 4-year-old vehicle, is a serious concern. It's not just my problem; countless others face the same situation. The allure of the design fades away when you're left with a beautiful car needing a nearly complete engine overhaul.
