My Peugeot 2008 Allure Still Has Brake and Steering Problems Under Warranty
On 10/07/2024, I purchased a brand-new Peugeot 2008 Allure 1.5 BlueHDi 130HP EAT8, techno gray color, chassis number VR3UDYH*********, license plate 3******7, from the Peugeot İnciroğlu dealership. When my car had around 6,000 km, I scheduled a service appointment because the steering wheel would shake when braking at speeds over 100 km/h. On 15/02/2025, when my car had 7,580 km, the brake discs were replaced under warranty. At that time, I requested that the brake pads also be changed if there was an issue, but the service staff said it was unnecessary, and the pads were not replaced. When my car reached around 12,500 km, I again started to feel the steering wheel shake when braking at speeds over 100 km/h. On 19/08/2025, with 14,311 km on the car, I went back to the Peugeot İnciroğlu service center. The service foreman confirmed that the discs were faulty and that the steering wheel was shaking excessively. I reminded them that the discs had been replaced at 7,580 km but the pads had not. The foreman said the pads may have caused the discs to warp again and added that the newly installed discs had a warranty limit of 14,000 km. When I requested that both the discs and pads be replaced under warranty, I was told I needed to contact headquarters. On 19/08/2025, I called Peugeot Turkey to request warranty replacement and was told I would receive a response within two business days. Despite following up several times, I was only contacted on 04/09/2025 and informed that after connecting the car to the device, no issues were detected, and therefore the replacement would not be covered under warranty. I request that this problem, which I am experiencing with a brand-new car still under warranty, be resolved under warranty, with both the brake pads and discs replaced free of charge, and that my grievance be addressed. Otherwise, I will pursue legal action.
