On March 30, 2026, I purchased a brand-new 2025 Peugeot 3008 1.2 PureTech from Martur Eyüp in Istanbul. On the morning of April 22, 2026, on a rainy day, the headliner of the vehicle was completely soaked because the sunroof seals were not installed correctly. While the vehicle was parked on a slight incline, water leaked from the ceiling and dripped onto my child sitting in the back seat, which was both dangerous and unacceptable for a zero-mileage vehicle. Approximately an hour after this incident, I took the vehicle back to the dealership for inspection. During this time, I requested a replacement vehicle, but I was told that they could not provide one before inspecting the vehicle and diagnosing the fault. On the same day, April 22, 2026, I contacted Peugeot Turkey customer service, opened a case, explained the situation in detail, and requested to be informed about the progress. I was told that I would receive a response within two days, but a week passed and no one called me. Despite my insistence on getting information and a solution, I did not receive any feedback or satisfactory response. Later, the service department informed me that they had fixed the problem without my prior consent and called me to pick up the vehicle. When I went to collect it, I was given the work order and documents related to the vehicle return. Although I did not pay anything for this intervention, it does not change the fact that a brand-new vehicle had a serious water leak from its panoramic sunroof, soaking the interior upholstery and dripping water onto my child, and that I did not receive the level of attention and communication I expected from customer service during this process. Since this zero-mileage vehicle has already experienced such a water leak problem, I believe there is a risk that the same issue may recur and that hidden damage may have occurred in the interior and electronic components. Because of this concern and the loss of trust in the vehicle, I request that my current vehicle be replaced with a new one so that the problem is definitively resolved and any safety risks are eliminated.
