I went to Peugeot Gülan service because of the noise coming from the pads of my Peugeot 308gt vehicle. Service Chief Mr. Y*** told me that they needed to change the front and rear pads and rear disk of my vehicle, that they had 2 different pads and that they could install the pads I wanted. I asked them to install the original pads from abroad and left my vehicle at the service. 2-3 hours later, they called me and told me that they did not have the pads I wanted, that they would install local pads and that there was no difference between the two except for the material used. However, while the sound coming from the pads was more shrill in the past, after the change, it started to sound more full and loud. Only 4 days after the pads were changed, I went to the service again and told them that my problem was not solved. That day they lubricated the pads. 1-2 days after the pads were lubricated, I took it to the service once again because the sound still did not go away, this time they stated that they shaved the pads to solve the problem (even though they absolutely should not be shaved) and that they solved the problem. After taking delivery of my vehicle and leaving the service center, I went back to the service center on the same day because I continued to hear the same sound and they did not solve my problem again. I was told to use it for a few days and it would pass. Although time passed, there was not even any decrease in the sound, so I went to the service again, and when I went, Mr. Y*** told me that he thought that the pad they installed was not one of the pads coming from abroad, but that he did not expect such a loud sound to come, and that he was surprised by the intensity of the sound. I left the vehicle at the service again, and the next day they sent me a message on WhatsApp saying “please be informed that there is deterioration on the surface because the front disks of the vehicle were exposed to water when it was hot”. However, every time I took my vehicle, the service was washing it after examining it, and since I had to go to the service again and again because of the lining problem I was constantly experiencing, the vehicle was always washed there and no water was kept outside. I told them this and asked them to explain how the disk of the vehicle, which was not exposed to water, was exposed to water, and they wrote “this is the situation as you can see in the pictures”.
