Personality.co Subscription Cancelled but Charges Continued
In June I started a trial subscription with Personality.co and cancelled it within the trial period, following the instructions given. Despite this, I was charged £39.99 on 6 June, 27 July, 1 August and 29 August, a total of four payments after I had already cancelled. After noticing the charges, I contacted Personality.co customer support. They confirmed by email that my subscription had been cancelled and that no further payment would be taken. However, the charges continued even after this confirmation, which has left me very disappointed and feeling misled. I contacted customer support again today and was told that, due to their refund policies, they cannot refund any money later than 30 days after the last period. I find this unacceptable, as the last charge was taken only two days ago, and all of these charges occurred after I had already cancelled within the trial period and after I had been assured that no further payments would be taken. I am attaching the confirmation emails from your support team as evidence that my subscription was cancelled and that I was told no further payments would be taken. My refund request has now been explicitly rejected by your support team, despite the clear evidence that the charges were taken after cancellation, and I am also attaching the email where this refusal is stated, together with the screenshots of the four £39.99 transactions that I sent to you. I request the immediate cancellation of any remaining subscription linked to my account and a full refund of all four £39.99 charges that were taken after my cancellation. I also ask for a written confirmation that my account is fully cancelled and that no further charges will be made.
