Pegasus Check-in Staff Denied Boarding for My Flight
On August 16, 2024, at 3:05 PM, despite arriving at Sabiha Gokcen Airport at 1:30 PM for my flight to North Cyprus-Lefkosa, I was forced to do a counter check-in due to the automatic check-in machine being broken. Because of the long queue, I approached the staff for check-in one hour before my flight.
I was told that check-in for the flight had closed and that I would not be able to board. They informed me that I needed to change my flight, which would cost ₺33,000. Despite my efforts to explain my situation, I couldn't find anyone to help and had to pay the amount to get a ticket for the 11:55 PM flight.
I was distressed not only by having to stay at the airport with my children but also by the additional amount I had to pay. I found this behavior very inappropriate for your company. I request that the airport camera footage be reviewed to confirm my report and that my grievances be addressed.
