Pegasus Airlines Unfairly Charged €50 for Laptop Bag Without Measuring or Weighing

On December 12, 2024, during the 8:50 AM Brussels flight with Pegasus Airlines, I was aware that I didn’t have checked baggage allowance, so I carefully packed a standard laptop bag weighing under 3 kg. However, at boarding, staff claimed my bag exceeded the size limit, using the crowd as an opportunity to charge me €50. They reached this conclusion without measuring or weighing the bag—just by looking at it.

Meanwhile, I saw other passengers with larger bags passing through without issue. If my bag was truly oversized (which it wasn’t, as it’s a standard laptop bag), I should have been informed at the initial check-in counters. Pegasus needs to apply consistent rules for all passengers and stop causing unnecessary inconvenience. I demand a refund for this unfair charge.
