Pegasus Airlines Staff Treated Me Rudely and Denied Cabin Luggage as a Disabled Passenger

February 12, 2025 12:05 PM82

Dear Pegasus Airlines,

On February 11, 2025, I traveled from Orly Airport on your 11:50 AM flight. As a disabled passenger, I sought assistance during boarding and approached a staff member for guidance. However, instead of offering help, the staff member rudely dismissed me, saying, "Wait in line over there" in a harsh and impolite tone. I expected a more respectful and understanding response.

Additionally, I attempted to bring my carry-on luggage into the cabin, as I had always been allowed to do with other airlines. However, I was told that it wasn’t allowed and that I needed to pay an extra fee. When I mentioned that other airlines had permitted my carry-on, the response was, "Other airlines might allow it, but we don’t."

This experience was deeply upsetting. As a disabled passenger, I expected some flexibility and better treatment. The rude behavior of the staff and the lack of accommodation for passengers with special needs were unacceptable. I urge Pegasus Airlines to review its policies and staff training.

I request a thorough investigation into this incident and a response regarding how this issue will be addressed. Please take action to ensure that disabled passengers are treated with the dignity and respect they deserve.
