Pegasus Airline's Flight Delay Caused My Sick Father to Suffer
Pegasus once again did not fail to disappoint with its disruptions and lack of care. Whenever we face issues with other airlines, they truly show us that they value us and always respond, but I am fed up with Pegasus’s indifference. The most recent incident was the last straw. Our flight from Mardin to Istanbul was delayed by 5 hours, and after boarding, it took another hour before takeoff, wasting a total of 6 hours. My uncle and father, both ill, were left exhausted at the airport, alone. The company did not even explain the reason for the delay, as if we had no right to know. Yes, they offered some hot and cold refreshments after such long hours of waiting, but it was pointless—my father, whose blood sugar dropped, had to buy food himself, and our bus ticket from Istanbul to another city was wasted. When we contacted the company, do you know what we got? A dry apology and a short email claiming it wasn’t their fault. But what about our losses? If it wasn’t their fault, then what was the reason? No explanation was given. If it wasn’t the passengers’ fault, then whose was it? We know our passenger rights. I condemn this negligence and the way you so easily leave people suffering without compensation. Fly with Pegasus again and recommend it to others? Never. I will take every action necessary since you failed to.
