Pegasus Airlines Damaged My Luggage and Refuses to Cover SWIFT Fee
On July 27, 2024, during my trip from Istanbul to Barcelona with Pegasus Airlines, the airline damaged my suitcase. I provided photographic evidence and formally requested compensation. After a month of waiting, they informed me that they would refund €33. Since they were compensating in euros, I replaced my original ₺ IBAN number with my euro IBAN. However, a €13 SWIFT fee was deducted from the refunded amount, effectively reducing my compensation.
I reached out to Pegasus again, requesting that they cover the €13 SWIFT fee since it was a direct result of their payment method. Unfortunately, they rejected my request, leaving my issue unresolved and me feeling unfairly treated. I am asking Pegasus Airlines to reimburse the €13 SWIFT fee to fully compensate me for the damage they caused. It's disappointing to experience such poor customer service, and I hope the company addresses this matter promptly.
I still haven't received a response.
