I am writing regarding a subscription payment processed by Paddle.net on April 21, 2026, for a “check number identity” service that I am unable to cancel. I only became aware of this charge through an SMS transaction notification. I originally signed up for this service through a website where I checked a phone number’s identity.
When I contacted customer support to cancel the subscription, I was asked to provide the email address used during registration. However, I do not know which email address was entered, and because of this, support has been unable or unwilling to assist me in canceling the subscription. I also do not have any order or invoice number—only the SMS record confirming the transaction.
As I cannot access the account or identify the email used, I am now stuck being charged for a subscription I do not want and cannot manage. I request a full refund of today’s charge and the immediate cancellation of this subscription, along with any future payments associated with it. I also ask for written confirmation once the cancellation and refund have been completed.
