Premature Battery Failure in Opel Crossland

My Opel Crossland, which was released in May 2021, had a battery failure after only 27 months. I took it to Opel Arkas Izmir service, who tried to charge the battery but it refused to hold a charge. According to additional research, Varta batteries in passenger vehicles typically last 4-5 years. To my dismay, the service center informed me that the warranty had expired two years ago and that a replacement would cost a hefty 3800 TL. Angry, I decided to jump-start the car and found a cheaper alternative from another seller at a nearby commercial site. Is it normal for a battery to die at such a young age? I've owned several brand-new vehicles over the years, and none of them required a battery replacement within the first 4-5 years. I demand an end to this unjust situation and urge Opel to stand by the dependability of their products.
