Bad Meat Quality at Shake Shack and Zero Empathy From Management
I want to share something that just happened to me at the Shake Shack branch in İstinyePark. I ordered a Shake Burger, Spicy Chicken Shack, Cheese Fries, and a Coca-Cola, paying a total of $21. While eating the Shake Burger, I noticed that the meat had no flavor and seemed like it might be undercooked or otherwise off — but since I was in a hurry, I kept eating.
When I got up to refill my drink, I mentioned the issue to a staff member. I told them the meat seemed like it might have a problem and that it was completely flavorless. The staff member relayed this to the manager, but the manager responded by saying there was nothing wrong with the meat and that if I had a complaint, I should have brought the burger back before eating it. This exchange took place in front of other customers nearby, and the way it was handled left me feeling embarrassed and disrespected.
I had chosen Shake Shack with confidence because I had enjoyed it before — but this experience, both in terms of what I paid and the way I was treated, left me genuinely disappointed. My intention was not to demand a new burger; I simply wanted to raise a concern. Despite that, I was not met with any understanding or solution-oriented response.
I am requesting that this incident be reviewed, that meat quality and cooking standards be checked specifically at this location, and that staff and management be reminded to handle customer concerns in a way that does not humiliate or dismiss the people raising them. I feel I did not receive what I paid for, and I am asking that this be properly addressed.
