Opel Refuses Support for Chronic Transmission Fault in 2020 Astra

I have a 2020 Opel Astra K 1.4 T GS Line automatic with 85,000 km, and for about six months I have been experiencing a serious transmission problem. The vehicle first started shifting into Drive (D) with vibrations, and now it only shifts into gear seemingly at random. Seeing such a transmission failure in a vehicle with this mileage and age both surprised me and caused me to lose a great deal of confidence in Opel.
After the issue occurred, I took the car to an authorized service center in Istanbul, and I was told outright that the transmission needed to be replaced. They quoted me a very high cost—about $7,700. Even though my vehicle is no longer under warranty, it doesn’t seem acceptable to me that Opel will not stand behind a part with such chronic problems or offer any support to the customer.
If there are going to be this many problems with parts and repairs, I question why these vehicles were released to the market in the first place. I bought this car two years ago, and because of this issue, I will now have to sell it for almost half of what I paid. Knowing that this loss in value and this hardship will not be compensated in any way has turned my first experience with Opel into a major regret.
I request that Opel stand behind the product it sold, and as a gesture of good faith, perform the transmission repair or replacement free of charge for me, and not leave customers alone when facing this kind of chronic problem.
