Opel Refused to Cover Front Brake Disc Malfunction on My Crossland Under Warranty

October 22, 2024 1:38 PM47

When I took my 2023 Opel Crossland with 16,000 km to the service due to a front brake disc malfunction, they told me that the discs were not covered under warranty as they are considered consumable parts and would need to be replaced at my expense. How can they claim that a part is consumable when the vehicle, which they advertise as having a 3-year or 100,000 km warranty, experiences a malfunction? When you turn the key, the vehicle's engine, alternator, fan motor, starter motor, etc., all work. Shouldn't they be upfront when selling the vehicle, specifying which parts are covered under warranty for how many kilometers, and which parts are not?

As a result, Turkish Opel has not made any progress and has not even deigned to respond to what has been said.
