Opel Left Me Waiting 86 Days for My 2023 Astra Repair After Accident
Following a traffic accident, I delivered my 2023 Opel Astra to Opel OTOSAY Ankara authorized service center for repairs on May 26, 2025. As of today, I have been waiting exactly 86 days for my vehicle to emerge from this establishment, and the ordeal I have endured has reached utterly intolerable proportions. All that required replacement was a bumper and headlight - a vehicle that hasn't even seen a facelift, with parts that would typically be the first casualties in any accident. Yet here we are, gentlemen apparently don't believe in maintaining inventory, so we've been waiting 3 months for a fog light bracket. Do they care? Naturally not. But let's set that aside. Who really cares about you or me anyway? According to Turkish Law No. 6502 and the After-Sales Services Regulation, the maximum service duration for passenger vehicles is 45 business days. Despite this period being thoroughly surpassed, my request for a replacement vehicle doesn't even merit a response. There are procedures to obey, apparently. They love obeying procedures. During this delightful process: ✓ I relocated to Istanbul and have been without a vehicle for 3 months. My daily existence has been completely disrupted. ✓ They haven't even deigned to respond to my written request for a replacement vehicle. I'd say my legal rights are being trampled, but who would care? ✓ When will my vehicle be delivered? Naturally, they haven't the faintest idea. If a factory worker takes a breath in Germany, it appears in your ERP system within 10 seconds, yet you cannot procure spare parts for the vehicles you sell. ✓ And here's the comedic touch: Opel Turkey claims the parts have arrived, while Otosay declares they don't have them and weren't sent any. I'm beginning to suspect they've resorted to outright fabrication. We've become a ping pong ball. "Speak with him, consult with her." Of course, why should the citizen matter? Keep redirecting them until they get lost in the maze. I shall request that you expedite my vehicle's repair (though what "expediting" means after 3 months escapes my comprehension) and provide me with a replacement vehicle (in Istanbul province). But we arrive at the same destination, don't we? Who cares? You'll make calls, gather information, and once again tell us it's "just arrived" or "about to arrive.
