Lost Battery Cover for Omron M2-HEM-7117 and No Support from Customer Service

I lost the battery cover for my Omron M2-HEM-7117 arm blood pressure monitor, and trying to get any help has been a nightmare. The Omron customer support email was completely unresponsive, saying it’s an old model. I didn’t pick this device up off the street—I bought it as a customer and expect the company to stand behind their products. Why do I have to turn to social media to get attention? This level of indifference is unacceptable. I have a patient to take care of, and now I’m expected to carry the device around to authorized service centers? Please, I need a solution!
