I purchased a 2023 Nissan Qashqai Sky Pack 4x4 in February 2024 and would like to bring a serious issue regarding the vehicle’s parking sensors to your attention. The sensors activate later than expected, causing safety concerns for me. In traffic, pedestrians or vehicles pass in front of my car, and only after they’ve gone do the sensors activate. This delay during parking maneuvers could potentially lead to accidents.
I’ve reported this problem twice to the authorized service center under warranty, but each time, I was told there’s no issue with the sensors. However, I’ve seen similar complaints on forums and platforms, which makes me believe this is a software-related issue rather than a hardware malfunction.
This unresolved problem is shaking my confidence in the Nissan brand. It’s unacceptable for the safety features, which are shared with customers, not to work as expected. I urge you to take immediate action to resolve this issue and provide solutions for other customers facing similar problems.
I ask for your prompt attention and response to this matter. Additionally, I would like to know if this issue requires a broader investigation or if a software update could resolve it.
