Nissan Damaged My Qashqai Windshield and Hood During Replacement

On 05.08, we required a windshield replacement for our Nissan Qashqai due to stone damage, which was approved by the insurance company, and the installation was completed on 28.08. During the process, no forms or documents were provided for us to sign or to note the existing damages on the car. While installing the windshield at Nissan Balaban Antalya, the motor hood was deeply scratched to the point where the metal became visible. Nissan Balaban refused responsibility without camera proof but offered to paint the scratches, claiming it would be a “micron” cover. The repair, however, was done unprofessionally with a brush, leaving an obvious patch with a different paint tone and uneven surface. We later showed the car to an independent service, which confirmed that the windshield had been installed incorrectly (plastic parts not properly fitted, allowing water to enter), the hood damage occurred during installation, and the paint repair was poorly done. We requested compensation for the estimated market value loss of approximately ₺120,000, but it was declined. We are now pursuing the issue in court—Nissan Türkiye, never again.
