My White Nine West Bag Turned Yellow After Only Two Uses
I purchased a white Nine West shoulder bag with a gold chain strap to use this summer. I began using it in June 2026, but noticeable yellow discoloration appeared around the strap and zipper during only my second use, even though I carried the bag for just a few hours. The color deteriorated so badly that the bag looked as though it had been used for years.
I visited the FLO store in Mimar Sinan, Büyükçekmece, where I purchased the bag and explained the problem. The bag was sent for inspection, but I was told that the issue was not caused by the manufacturer. Bags are obviously made to be used, and normal wear can sometimes result from customer use. However, this level of yellowing after such a short time clearly indicates poor material quality. Blaming the customer entirely has left me unfairly inconvenienced.
I also called Nine West customer service, but I was told that nothing could be done and that there was no other department where I could submit my complaint. In short, neither the store nor the brand stood behind the product.
I am requesting a new review of the rejected inspection claim numbered fp260710-722-0624846, associated with purchase number 44710030902606960007. I will not use the bag in its current condition, so I expect a refund, replacement, or an equivalent resolution. Otherwise, because of the poor material quality and the lack of support I experienced afterward, I will not recommend Nine West bags to anyone.
