I purchased the New Balance 2002R model expecting premium quality, but I’m extremely disappointed. Despite never washing the shoes or exposing them to water, the color has noticeably faded—just as shown in the attached image. This level of deterioration is unacceptable for a shoe that’s marketed as high-performance and sold at a premium price point.
I visited the New Balance store at Akasya Mall in Istanbul to report the issue and request support. However, I was shocked when they brushed it off as "user error" without properly investigating or acknowledging the condition of the shoes. I’ve taken great care of them and used them under normal circumstances, so I strongly disagree with that conclusion.
I’m frustrated that New Balance refuses to stand behind its product. Fading like this shouldn’t occur so quickly or easily, especially without any harsh usage. I expected more from such a well-known brand. I demand a proper inspection and resolution—either a replacement or a refund. Please take responsibility and address this issue promptly.
