Burnt Plastic Piece in Haribo Peaches

On March 22, 2026, I purchased a package of Haribo Peaches (lot/batch number Lo114003047350 0423A, best before 03/2027) from Pabst Metro Market in Oconomowoc, WI. On the same day, when we opened the product, we discovered a piece of burnt plastic inside one of the peach candies. Thankfully, we noticed the foreign object before anyone in my household consumed the candy, but this was a very concerning and disappointing experience, and it has made me unsure about the safety of your products. In this situation, I am requesting a full refund for this purchase, a replacement or coupon for future purchases, and, most importantly, an investigation into how burnt plastic ended up in the product and a written explanation of your findings so that I can regain confidence in your brand.
