I Face Defect on New Balance 574 Shoes — Store Refused Help After Warranty
About a year and a half ago, I purchased a pair of New Balance 574 shoes from the official New Balance store at StarCity Mall. I only wore them during the winter months, and only when the weather was not too rainy. However, about a month ago, the toe area of the shoe tore open. In the past, I had only experienced a mild odor issue, but this is the first time I’ve encountered a tear like this.
When I visited the store, I was informed that no action could be taken since the warranty period had expired. Although I no longer have the receipt, my name and purchase record exist in the store system. Considering that the shoes were used under proper and gentle conditions, it is unacceptable that such a product would tear in such a short time.
I am requesting that my shoes be repaired or replaced as a goodwill gesture, given the circumstances. I kindly ask for your assistance in resolving this matter and addressing the issue promptly.
