I recently purchased a pair of New Balance 530 series shoes at a high price from a store that explicitly claimed the product was 100% original. However, when I checked the shoes, I noticed that the barcode inside is completely unreadable, which immediately raised serious concerns about the authenticity of the product. For a premium brand like New Balance, this is unacceptable, as customers expect transparency and clear proof of originality when paying such prices.
Since the barcode cannot be scanned at all, I cannot verify whether the shoes I purchased are truly authentic or not. I believe it is the company’s responsibility to provide customers with clear authenticity verification, especially when the product is sold as original at a premium cost.
I am requesting official confirmation that my shoes are genuine. If New Balance cannot provide this assurance, I will be left with no choice but to demand a full refund. I expect the company to stand behind its products and resolve this issue promptly to protect consumer trust.
