As soon as I started using the Neutrogena Hydro Boost Eye Cream, I felt an immediate burning sensation around my eyes. I initially brushed it off, but the discomfort persisted every time I applied the product. Before buying it, the Watsons store employee had casually warned me that the product might cause a stinging effect—but since I’ve used other Neutrogena products without issues, I didn’t think much of it.
After using it for a few days, I realized this reaction wasn’t just a one-off. I've since heard from a few others who also experienced similar irritation, which makes me question how safe and suitable this product really is for sensitive under-eye skin.
I need Neutrogena to clearly state whether this type of burning sensation is considered “normal” or if it indicates a problem with the formula. Products marketed for eye care should not be causing irritation, especially from a globally trusted skincare brand. I ask the company to investigate this issue and provide better warnings or reformulate the product if necessary. I also expect a response and a refund for a product that I can no longer use.
