I purchased the Neutrogena Refreshing Scrub from a retail store and used it exactly as instructed. However, the moment I applied it to my skin, I felt an intense burning sensation. I immediately rinsed my face to stop the pain, but the damage had already been done—my skin turned bright red, and soon after, acne-like sores began to form.
My face is still visibly red and inflamed, and the condition has only gotten worse with time. The most severe irritation is under my eyes, where I now feel constant stinging and discomfort. I’m shocked that a product meant to refresh the skin can cause this kind of reaction, especially since it’s widely available and marketed as safe for regular use.
This has been a traumatizing experience, and I no longer trust the safety of Neutrogena’s skincare products.
Neutrogena, I demand an immediate response and a full refund. You also need to reevaluate the ingredients and clearly warn users about potential risks. No one should suffer this kind of pain from a facial cleanser. Take responsibility and fix this before more customers are harmed.
