N11 Unauthorized Order Without Information
On July 11, 2024, an order was placed on my N11 account without my knowledge, using the credit card registered on the site, and was shipped to an address in Sırnak Cizre. The individual who placed the order initially used my personal address, then canceled it and reordered using their own address, complete with detailed directions. Strangely, even though a ₺50 order placed with my Masterpass-registered card typically requires SMS confirmation, no such confirmation was received in this instance. When I inquired about this, I was told that I had canceled the order and should contact my bank. The bank, however, stated that it was the policy of the shopping site and redirected me back to you. Consequently, your site, which allows accounts to be compromised and orders placed without SMS confirmation, claims no responsibility, suggesting the issue originated elsewhere. Where does the security issue lie then? While prominently displaying the option to save the card during purchases in large, red letters, did it not occur to you to address these security concerns? You are giving vague answers and stalling people, yet you cannot even ensure the security of the site. Additionally, as a solution, you have closed the account citing "security (!)" reasons for a case that has been reported to the prosecutor's office. Is your understanding of security to close the stolen account or to resolve the issue? When the court requests a screenshot as evidence, do you refuse to provide it and come up with such a solution to avoid responsibility?
